Argentijnse superdansers Ricardo Biggeri & Soledad Larretapia zijn behalve ongelooflijke tangodansers ook uitstekende swingdansers. Ze staan bekend om een eigen stijl, techniek, muzikaliteit en lesmethode. Reserveer 24 november alvast in je agenda, het wordt een geweldige dag met workshops voor drie verschillende niveaus en een grote SwingSalon.

Argentine super dancers Ricardo Biggeri & Soledad Larretapia are besides incredible tango dancers excellent swing dancers. NIVEAUS

Uno (beginner - beginner/intermediate)
Je zit al een aantal maanden op lindyles en hebt de grootste pret en je weet zeker dat je nog veel meer wilt leren. Misschien is je voetenwerk nog niet perfect maar je bent al aardig op weg. Een driewerf ja op de volgende vragen? Dan is dit waarschijnlijk jouw niveau.
• Dans je al 2 tot 6 maanden lindy hop?
• Kun je de 8-count-basis?
• Kun jij een aantal basismoves leiden of volgen?

Dos (intermediate)
Je bent al behoorlijk verzot op lindy hop en er is geen houden meer aan. Je repertoire aan moves begint zich al aardig uit te breiden en je kunt niet wachten om het tempo een beetje op te voeren. Als onderstaande punten op jou van toepassing zijn dan is dit het niveau voor jou.
• Je danst al 6 tot 12 maanden
• Je beheerst de 6- en 8-countbasis
• Je kunt de swing out leiden en volgen

Tres (intermediate/advanced)
Geef het maar toe: je bent verslaafd en op feestjes niet van de vloer te slaan. De basis voelt vanzelfsprekend, langzaam of snel. Je wilt alles weten over connectie en muzikaliteit. Volmondig ja op onderstaande? Dan is dit jouw niveau.
• Je danst langer dan een jaar
• Je bent volledig vertrouwd met de basis
• Langzaam of snel: tempo doet er niet meer zo toe
• Je beheerst ritmische variaties en kunt improviseren

Charleston met LIsa
Doe vanaf 20:30 mee met Lisa's Charlestonworkshop! De voorloper van de Lindy Hop is superleuk en Lisa is een volleerd flapper die je mee terug neemt naar de roerige jaren '20. Het kost niets extra, partner en ervaring zijn niet nodig, maar we garanderen dikke pret!

DJs Ghentlemen
Apetrots zijn we dat Sep & Kris uit lindy-hot-spot Gent de allerallervetste swingplaatjes van vinyl komen draaien! Van dit feest zal je je kleinkinderen nog vertellen!

LEVELS

Uno (beginner - beginner/intermediate)
You have been dancing for several months, you really enjoy Lindy Hop and you want to learn more. Maybe your 8-count footwork isn’t perfect but you know how to do it and you can lead or follow a few simple moves. If you answer “yes” to all of the following questions, this is probably the level for you
• Have you been dancing for 2 – 6 months?
• Can you do the 8-count basic?
• Can you lead or follow a few simple moves?

Dos (intermediate)
You are probably hooked on Lindy Hop as you’ve been dancing for 6 months to 1 year. You repertoire is growing and you want to speed things up. If all of the below statements apply to you, this is probably your level.
• You’ve been dancing for 6 – 12 months
• You can lead or follow both 6- and 8-count moves
• You know how to do the swing out

Tres (intermediate/advanced)
You have been dancing for more then a year and let’s face it: you’re an addict and spotted at every social dance. Your level of technique allows you to apply different variations and you want to know all about connection and musicality.
• You’ve been dancing for more than a year
• Basics are second nature
• You can apply rhythmic variations and can improvise with ease
• Slower tempo and uptempo songs are not a problem
Check, check, check AND check? Well then, this is the level for you!

Charleston with LIsa
Join us from 8:30 pm with Lisa's Charleston workshop! The predecessor of Lindy Hop is jolly good fun and Lisa is a true flapper that will take you back to the roaring 20s. It doesn't cost extra, no need for a partner or experience, you'll have a ball for sure!
