Fancy Foundations!

Pieter Aart, Kate and Egle teamed up to set up a weekend that will focus on your foundations. Together with you, we will explore the very essence of technique to set a new norm for silence in our dancing and get faith in the flow of our movement. Expect to focus, explore and discover.

The weekend consists of two tracks - four hours of classes each. You can pick one track, or sign up for both. Both tracks are topic-based and will challenge dancers at many levels of experience.
Swing in Rhythm (local) level requirement is Level 3, otherwise the workshop is open to everyone who has been dancing for more than a half year (beginner/intermediate).

Topics
Track 1: The (new) norm for silence
With focus on: clear, calm, responsible and trustworthy dancing - you will become silent as a zen master and clear as glass for your partner.

Track 2: The flow of dancing
With focus on: faithfull, grounded and easy-going dancing - you will create the sense of having more time while dancing and make your dance flow evenly.

About Pieter Aart
Communication trainer and business consultant by profession, he enjoys to dig into the details of dance technique and teaching Lindy.
Pieter Aart has been working on the gritty details of teaching Lindy Hop in collaboration with the SwingStep team from Germany.

About Kate
All the way from Australia, calling Utrecht her home now, Kate is a delightful dancer and teacher. Kate makes it her personal mission to let every lead shine and smile as most follows would like to. She applies her mission rigorously to her teaching as well.
